Out West!
I'm out west with the Wasatch Project! All the hard working throughout the summer finally paid off. I have been riding every single day. This is my first day off. The weather isn't very nice today so I decided to rest up. I've been learning a bunch since I got here. My goal is too win the Gatorade Free Flow tour at 7 Springs. I'm pretty sure I have the tricks I just need to stop a clean run. Check out the teams first week out west!------>WEEK 1!

Summer Working.
While all my friends are out at parties, I'm working two jobs trying to get enough money for the season. Every Saturday I work both of my Jobs. Working almost 10 hours throughout the day. If you've been following my blog at all you would know I went to Mt. Hood with the Wasatch Project. The team is also going to Keystone in the beggining of the season. I couldn't imagine anything being as fun as that. My parents are also helping me out. My mom is going to talk to my councilers with me and try to find a way to keep me caught up while I'm gone. I'd also like to meet up with the team at a Gatorade Free Flow Tour out west or even possibly the Canadian Open. It's a long shot but you always have to dream big! Hopefully this upcomming season will be the best one yet.

MT. HOOD!
I just went summer shredding for the first time ever! I went to Mt. Hood with a group of kids from around the United States. I met a bunch of new people and had alot of fun. I was so glad I finally got the rotation for a switch frontside rodeo down. (even though I never stomped one) It was a trick I've always wanted to learn. The team I went with was called the Wasatch Project. The head coachs name is Dustin Linker. Hes one of coolest guys I've ever met. I hope with his help I can progress alot more this upcomming season. For the first 5 or so days there were only a few kids up at the cabin. Braden Landon, Red Gerard, Jessica Jenson, and Me. Red and Jessica had been on the team for a while but it was mine and Braden first time with the team. They both welcomed us in and treated us like they treated eachother. Red and Jessica are exceptionally talented riders. I hope spending time with the team I'll progress as well as they did. Overall this was one of my greatest experiences so far in my snowboarding life. I look foward to many more with the team. Oh and one more thing. I got my first ever goggle tan. Its pretty gnarly.
